History

Fossa Mala was established in 2003 in a restored Venetian villa in Fiume Veneto, just a short drive from the centre of Pordenone.

The villa is immersed in the ancient, verdant, exceptional lands of the DOC Grave. No better location could have been found for the blossoming idea of the Fossa Mala vineyard.

The first six hectares soon grew to the current 30 hectare under the vigilant commitment of the Roncadin family to produce important, incomparable wines that generate strong emotions.

The villa that houses guests, the restaurant, and the Fossa Mala wine shop presides over the surrounding vineyard, the labour of man, and the slow change of the seasons that, all together, make Fossa Mala wine great.
